Austin, TX (Neuromodulation Division) Overview
Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a Group Manager – Strategy and Analytics to lead competitive insights initiatives in the Neuromodulation segment. The role will drive market intelligence, fuel growth, and influence strategy across product development and marketing. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities and competitive landscape within neuromodulation. Evaluate market data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for strategic decision‑making. Monitor and analyze competitor activities, product developments and market positioning. Deliver structured communications in written and verbal form on competitors and category insights. Establish and maintain relationships with key decision‑makers, industry leaders and partners. Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to top executives. Lead initiatives to identify and evaluate new business opportunities in alignment with short‑ and long‑term goals. Lead, coach and empower a high‑performance analytics team. Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define and execute learning needs aligned with organizational goals. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field. Minimum 8 years of strong analytical, predictive financial modeling and strategic thinking experience. Minimum 10 years in market research, business analytics/forecasting or competitive intelligence within Healthcare, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals or related sectors. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Expertise in identifying data limitations, interpreting discrepancies and synthesizing multiple data sets. Strong people‑leadership skills and experience managing and developing teams. Experience working with cross‑functional and global teams. Willingness to accommodate global calls and travel domestically and internationally. Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree. Compensation
Base pay: $129,300.00 – $258,700.00 (varies by location). Benefits
