Leasing Consultant (Bilingual)

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and play a key role in the leasing and sales process. This role is critical in bringing our core values to life each day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist prospective residents in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner, both in person and over the phone.
  • Conduct property tours, showcasing amenities and available units while creating a personalized experience for each prospect.
  • Answer questions and provide accurate information about leasing terms, pricing, and property policies.
  • Assist in processing lease applications and conducting background checks with attention to detail and integrity.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and follow up activities.
  • Coordinate move in and move out processes, ensuring a smooth and positive transition for residents.
  • Support resident retention efforts through effective communication, relationship building, and timely service.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and well presented community environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, a combination of an Associate's Degree and 1 year of relevant work experience or a High School diploma and 3 years of relevant work experience will be required. Preference will be given to candidates who have obtained their CALP designation.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Prior experience in property management, leasing, sales, or customer service is required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Proficiency in property management software, Entrada or Yardi is preferred and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid state issued driver's license required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
  • Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds and fifty (50) with assistance.
  • Regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, meetings or other situations necessary for the completion of some or all of the daily responsibilities.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend.
