À propos

Job Description We are looking for a highly independent Lead Analytics Engineer to own and evolve our enterprise BI data layer, built on Snowflake and DBT. This role goes beyond implementation - you will be responsible for data modeling decisions, pipeline design, validation, and system reliability across a complex and evolving data ecosystem. You will work closely with analytics, supply chain, and engineering teams but are expected to drive technical solutions end-to-end, including in ambiguous situations.
Location: Rockville, MD or Philadelphia, PA.
Job Responsibilities
Data Modeling & Architecture Ownership: Design and maintain scalable data models using Snowflake and DBT. Define standards for transformations and semantic layers.
Data Quality & Validation: Own data correctness end-to-end. Validate counts, aggregations, and joins. Identify discrepancies independently.
Pipeline Stability & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve pipeline failures and performance issues. Optimize Snowflake workloads and DBT execution.
Problem Solving in Ambiguity: Work through incomplete requirements and unclear ownership. Identify root causes across systems.
Collaboration & Enablement: Partner with analytics and data teams. Provide guidance to junior team members and define best practices.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
5–8+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI engineering. Advanced SQL expertise. Strong experience with DBT (models, lineage, transformations). Hands‑on Snowflake experience. Proven ability to own pipelines end‑to‑end and solve complex data issues independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Data Vault concepts, enterprise BI environments like Power BI, and Git‑based workflows.
Success Criteria
Within 3–6 months, the candidate owns BI Gold modeling with minimal guidance, resolves data discrepancies independently, establishes consistent modeling patterns, and reduces leadership involvement in technical decision‑making.
Benefits COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $90,000-$110,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
