About the role As a Principal Backend Engineer, you will provide strategic technical leadership across backend systems, guiding architecture, mentoring engineers, and shaping engineering practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing, reliable, and scalable solutions while influencing the long-term technical roadmap.
Tech stack The backend is primarily built on C# and .NET, with a microservices architecture. Development follows DevOps best practices, containerization, and observability principles to ensure reliability and scalability.
What will you do
Define and implement the architectural vision for critical backend systems.
Write clean, scalable, and high-performance backend code.
Mentor engineers and promote best practices across teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business needs.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance backend capabilities.
Ideally you bring
Extensive experience with C#/.NET and distributed systems.
Proven success in designing and scaling microservices or modular services.
Familiarity with DevOps workflows and containerized deployments.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
