Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain large‑scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data.
Write ETL processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real‑time and offline analytic processing.
Collaborate with Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes.
Test, maintain, and troubleshoot systems and malfunctions.
Leverage Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and query optimization to build data pipelines.
Build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems using Python, Java, or similar languages.
Build data marts and data models to support Data Science and internal customers.
Integrate data from a variety of sources while ensuring adherence to data quality and accessibility standards.
Analyze current IT environments to identify critical capabilities and recommend solutions for complex business problems.
Experiment with available tools and advise on new tools to provide optimal solutions for specific use cases.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
Five (5) years of progressive, post‑baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; Hadoop and HDFS; Snowflake; SQL.
Experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience with AWS products: EC2, VPC, or EBS.
Experience with JIRA, Rally, or Confluence.
Experience with data warehousing concepts; Big Data and data lakes.
Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC).
Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $179,296.00 to $203,940.00 per year. The actual base salary offer will depend on factors such as experience, education, and geography. The position is eligible for bonus, commission, short‑term incentive programs, and an equity award program.
