Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert on Azure technology and Azure go-to-market strategy.
Consult with field SAs and BDs to analyze customers’ business and technical requirements and determine how the needs can best be met by AWS.
Present recommendations and designs directly to customers, demonstrating proficiency interacting with business executives (CxOs) and technical audiences (Architect/Director).
Analyze trends and competitive offerings to generate technical and business insights. Foster a community of cloud specialists who leverage your insights.
Create technical content such as decks, whitepapers, and recordings.
Deliver technical presentations and trainings to field SAs, BDMs, and product stakeholders.
Manage a pipeline of technical engagements that requires rapid delivery and frequent reprioritization, delivering operational excellence.
A day in the life: The AWS Cloud Intelligence team is a specialty services organization that provides cloud compete expertise globally. We advise account teams and customers through at scale content, gather and analyze insights surrounding comparable cloud providers, and highlight product and position gaps to continuously improve AWS’ overall value proposition. The team provides targeted support for specific competitive opportunities through one-to-one customer engagements. The role supports field teams by removing business and technical blockers in the sales cycle.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in technology domain areas such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
8+ years of enterprise IT experience, either as a vendor, consultant, or with prior experience managing technical programs.
6+ years of architecting or operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI.
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
Experience working with end user or developer communities.
4+ years of leading development of applications backed by AWS services or other cloud-based technologies.
4+ years of architecting or operating solutions built on any cloud service provider.
Bachelor's degree or AWS certification such as AWS Solutions Architect.

San Francisco, CA – $176,600.00 – $239,000.00 USD annually
Atlanta, GA – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually
Chicago, IL – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually
New York, NY – $169,000.00 – $228,600.00 USD annually
Austin, TX – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually
Dallas, TX – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually
Arlington, VA – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually
Herndon, VA – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually
Seattle, WA – $153,600.00 – $207,800.00 USD annually
