Centralized data, readily accessible support, and collaboration between the laboratory and ordering provider reduce the time to a patient’s diagnosis and treatment.
This entry‑level lab position is a great opportunity to learn and grow within the field. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, dependable, and ready to be part of a collaborative team environment. A positive attitude and willingness to take direction are essential.
Position Full‑time caregiver. Days + calls. 7:00 am—3:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
Retrieve, sort, track, verify receipt of, and deliver specimens.
Comply with safety SOP & regulations.
Perform basic clerical and problem‑solving functions.
Maintain appropriate documentation.
Communicate and document essential information.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
Six months of patient care experience.
EPIC experience.
Physical Requirements
Manual dexterity to perform specimen handling techniques and to take measurements.
May require extended periods of standing, walking and/or sitting.
Handles and transports biohazardous materials.
Visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish colors.
Must have normal or corrected vision.
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as defined in the exposure control plan.
Pay Range Minimum hourly: $17.95 Maximum hourly: $25.50
