Senior Deputy Program Manager Engineering

General Dynamics Mission Systems has a need for a Senior Engineering Program Manager located in Bloomington, MN.

Duties and Tasks:

• Leads the planning and ensures monitoring and control for assigned development programs
• Responsible for Cost, Schedule, and Technical performance for all engineering efforts
• Ensures all project deliverables are developed with high quality and delivered on time
• Manages the engineering related risks and opportunities of the program
• Conducts monthly Engineering Status Reviews
• Manages the resolution of technical issues
• Ensures that team members are recognized for their contributions
• Takes immediate & decisive action in dealing with technical & performance issues
• Assists in Proposal and ROM development

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 8 years project management experience leading hardware and software development teams
• 5 years technical experience; preferably with embedded systems
• Significant experience using Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Proven communication skills
• Strong leadership & mentoring skills

Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary Range USD $160,047.00 - USD $181,835.00 /Yr.
