Hybrid role 2-3 days in the office at Solidigm in Santa Clara

NA/hr Sourcing & Commercial Manager (CW): An IC VMI SCM (Sourcing & Commercial Manager) is responsible for IC supply, inventory control, and services for Solidigm SC&P organization under VMI/consign model. Working on the terms & conditions with suppliers to meet business requirement. Drives and participates in the development of system/process improvement of VMI flow and supplier managements across organizational teams. Owns the negotiation of price, capacity, allocation and business terms with suppliers and ensure supply and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with MPM, PMT and ODM SCM on all supply related issues to SSD build
• Price and allocation adjustment based on supplier's performance.
• Weekly/daily coordination on forecast requirement
• Strategic planning and future LT capacity/pricing model
• VMI enablement with current and potential future suppliers
• Drive supplier proposals and RFQs. Resolve all commercial queries arising from the quote process and formalize business awards.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with IC suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on value engineering projects and cost improvements
• Conduct market analysis and supplier assessments to stay abreast of industry trends and identify opportunities, or potential risks, BCP mitigation plan
• Relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth inventory operations.
• Ensuring compliance: Ensuring that all purchasing activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in sourcing, procurement and supply chain management, or related field.
• 10+ years Proven experience of commercial sourcing, vendor management or related filed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Nice to have - Semiconductor experience
