May include: Development, management, and execution of established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware running on hardware, local, networked, and Internet-based platforms; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues. Ensure modifications are fully regression testable and delivered on schedule. Translation of functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans, cases, and steps, with expected results and defined data matrices for each test. Coding and programming test scripts, automation systems, and integration activities based on specific test requirements. Performing manual regression testing. Identifying issues, risks and dependencies escalating and managing where appropriate Providing product handoff to both technical and non‐technical audiences. Continually updating skills by learning new technologies relevant to the role. Evaluating and recommending test tools and processes. Promoting and advocating best practices within the team and throughout the business. Manually and/or automatically (e.g. using DevOps tools) deploying deliverables to the test environment prior to starting test processes. Scheduling, leading, and actively participating in test plan review meetings in collaboration with overall engineering teams to define the scope of testing, and obtaining approval from all required stakeholders. Participating in bug and defect triage meetings Reporting detailed bugs, defects, or improvements with sufficiently detailed information for all stakeholders to understand. May include, but is not limited to: specific steps, screenshots, log information, or specific sets of data. Defining defect or issue severity based on impact and frequency. Making and restoring database backups for setting up, managing, and maintaining test environments. Collaboration with the schedule and scope estimation process, providing test estimates for various deliverables and efforts. Extensive experience with multiple software quality assurance tools and processes. Evaluating forms and processes for software testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in overall architecture and software design for products and solutions. Experience with design and integration of software running on multiple platform types Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels. Ability to apply good judgement, strong work ethics and integrity on the job
