The Operations Project Manager owns the production pipeline end-to-end: setting priorities, allocating resources, and driving operational consistency. This role works closely with the workshop and showroom teams, providing direction on daily execution while maintaining visibility into longer-term planning, performance, and process improvement.
Employee Responsibilities
Own and manage the full production pipeline from design approval through completion, including schedules, timelines, and project milestones
Set weekly and forward-looking production plans, aligning workload, staffing, and priorities across woodworking, upholstery, and vendor partners
Allocate resources and assign work at a macro level, ensuring balanced workloads and efficient use of team capacity
Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, identifying risks and adjusting plans proactively to maintain delivery commitments
Lead coordination with vendors, subcontractors, and external partners to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and quality expectations
Establish, implement, and refine operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve consistency and efficiency
Review production output and enforce quality standards across all stages of work prior to delivery
Provide direction and oversight to the Workshop and Showroom teams, ensuring daily execution aligns with production plans
Communicate regular production updates, risks, and performance insights to leadership
Drive continuous improvement across operations, identifying opportunities to increase throughput, reduce delays, and enhance overall performance
Required Skills & Experience
3–7 years of experience in operations, production, or project management (interiors, construction, or similar preferred)
Experience leading teams and managing workflow in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and adjust priorities in response to changing demands
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across internal teams and external partners
Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Combination of office and production environment, with regular time spent in workshop settings overseeing operations
Frequent movement between workroom areas to monitor production progress and support team coordination
Computer use required for tracking projects, scheduling, communication, updates and other duties as assigned
Ability to lift and move materials or finished pieces as needed, up to 40 lbs
Must be able to commute between workroom and other local sites as needed with reliable transportation
This is an on-site role based at the Process Home workroom in Dallas, with regular presence required in additional Dallas-area production or project locations
Compensation
$90,000 - $115,000 based on experience
