What You’ll Do
Impact higher‑risk aspects, set priorities, review requirements, and determine scope and limitations of testing initiatives.
Guide best‑practices, standardization of processes, approaches, and methodologies for multiple QA testing services, including SOA, unit, integration, functional, regression, acceptance, system, load, performance, smoke tests, and defect management.
Lead test case creation plans and facilitate reviews, inspections, and approvals of test automation for continuous process improvement and reduction of product defects.
Lead the documentation of defects, build and execute test plans, help debug and diagnose difficult to complex code issues in selected environments.
Influence the software development life cycle process through collaboration with infrastructure, development operations, and development teams.
Promote and maintain solid technical relationships with QA engineers and developers.
Communicate, audit, review, and summarize reports, meeting standards and following best practices.
Help engage around the estimation and planning of highly sophisticated scalable projects and their budget allocations.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies so you can make informed recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of related work experience.
Comfortable working in an agile environment.

Experience with functional test case design and execution for web and mobile applications.
Proficient in functional test suite and defect management tools with a desire to further develop technical expertise in data engineering tools, methodologies, and emerging technologies.
Ability to work independently and deliver on agreed‑upon timelines.
A “no line of code written without testing” mindset.
Strong time‑management skills with a history of meeting commitments.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of JIRA, qTest, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
Knowledge of test technology trends and web/mobile debugging tools (e.g., AI, Charles Proxy).
A passion for technology.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $135,200 to $181,200 per year and in Glendale, CA is $141,900 to $190,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
