They will develop efficient code and ensure it is validated through unit and integration tests for both existing and newly developed scenarios.
In addition to writing code, the candidate should understand business and system requirements and provide engineering solutions using sound solution design and proven practices.
As part of the job responsibilities, the individual should support production releases at various times as required by the job.
Key Responsibilities
Write Unit & Integration Tests to ensure validity on business scenarios
Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and design
Provide application support and troubleshoot as needed
Support production release after thorough training
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
4 to 7 years of experience in disciplines including but not limited to:
Strong programming fundamentals and algorithms, primarily in Java
Proficiency in UNIX scripting (bash), PowerShell, and Python
Ability to code independently with minimal oversight
Process oriented with clear understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
Experience with agile projects and all phases of agile development
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and BitBucket
Hands‑on experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with business system analysts
Strong cloud knowledge (AWS or Azure) and experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and Route53
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Python
Experience on AWS
