Job Description BAE Systems is a leading global defense, security, and aerospace company. We are seeking a Jr. to Mid‑Level Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team supporting a government customer to drive innovation, efficiency, and security in the rapidly evolving landscape of government mission and business information technology.
As a Jr. to Mid‑Level Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of systems, applying operational expertise, monitoring system health, performing troubleshooting, conducting network configuration, preventive maintenance, and system issue resolution, as well as leading advanced security protocols and overseeing system resilience improvements.
Responsibilities
Apply operational expertise, monitoring system health, and entry‑level troubleshooting
Conduct network configuration, preventive maintenance, and system issue resolution
Lead advanced security protocols; perform preventive actions; oversee system resilience improvements
Minimum Qualifications
High School or GED required
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
3+ years of experience for Jr.‑Level or 8 years of experience for Mid‑Level in systems administration, with a portion of the experience within the last 2 years
Master’s degree desired
