Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Requirements:
CA licensed nurse with good physical and mental health. Current BLS level CPR certification. Ability to walk, bend, lift, and perform manual skills required for patient care. Good mental health; able to tolerate challenging patient behaviors. Strong assessment skills and resourcefulness in emergency situations. Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Conduct individualized patient assessments and prioritize care based on patient needs. Develop and implement collaborative care plans with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders while maintaining accurate documentation. Provide patient and family education related to health management. Assist in emergency situations following resuscitation protocols. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Compliance / Notes:
Scrubs requirement: All nursing staff must wear Caribbean Blue scrubs. Reporting to the Director of Nursing and adherence to the chain of command is expected. Participation in annual CPR classes and ongoing education is required.
