Job Description Serve as an Inside Sales Representative and Project Manager, coordinating customer support activities from quote to delivery. Pre‑sale responsibilities include educating customers, understanding and interpreting project requirements, developing project specifications, preparing quotations, and obtaining contracts and deposits. Post‑sale responsibilities include sales order entry, coordination with technical services, manufacturing, and delivery teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities
Generate professional project estimates and drive sales of metal building systems, residential metal roofing products, and related components.
Enter sales orders into company software systems and coordinate internal resources to ensure customers receive products and services in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Manage post‑delivery issues, including damages, shortages, delays, change requests, and field fabrication concerns.
Ensure all sales of products and services comply with established pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing support and maintaining positive customer relationships throughout the sales process.
Act as a liaison between customers and the company regarding customer requirements, concerns, and potential issues.
Analyze and report competitive market information.
Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring customer‑focused activities, deliverables, and support.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a sales or service‑oriented environment preferred.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated professionalism and a strong work ethic.
Proficiency in personal computer use and standard business software applications.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
