What is in it for you? We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and ETL development to build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modern cloud data platforms and a strong understanding of data architecture, transformation, and performance optimization.
Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
Develop and optimize complex Snowflake SQL queries , stored procedures, and data models.
Build and manage data warehouses and data marts on Snowflake.
Implement efficient data loading and transformation strategies using ETL tools.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues and ensure data quality and integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders .
Perform query tuning and performance optimization for Snowflake workloads.
Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards .
Automate workflows and scheduling using orchestration tools.
Support data migration and integration from multiple data sources.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
Advanced proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, CTEs, window functions).
Expertise in ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Matillion, or similar.
Experience with data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema).
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is preferred.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/Shell) is a plus.
Knowledge of data orchestration tools (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Location Portland OR
Educational Qualifications Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
Good to have skills Pharmacy Domain
