About the Role
Hakimo is seeking an
Associate Solutions Engineer, Implementations
to support customer onboarding, technical implementations, and go-live activities for the Hakimo AI SaaS platform. This is a strong opportunity for a recent graduate, early-career technical professional, or hands‑on problem solver with foundational experience in computer science, IT, networking, cybersecurity, or physical security systems. In this role, you will work closely with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Product Engineering, and Security Operations teams to help customers connect their camera systems and security infrastructure to Hakimo’s platform. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you should be technical, curious, detail-oriented, comfortable working with customers, and willing to travel frequently to support successful deployments. What You’ll Do
Support customer onboarding and implementation projects from setup through go-live. Travel to customer sites to assist with deployment, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and go-live support. Help configure and provision customer environments within Hakimo’s cloud-based SaaS platform. Assist with connecting Hakimo to customer camera systems, NVRs, on‑premise network environments, and related physical security infrastructure. Troubleshoot basic networking, video stream, device connectivity, hardware setup, and configuration issues. Partner with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Product Engineering, and Security Operations teams to ensure successful customer deployments. Document implementation steps, customer requirements, technical issues, and resolution details. Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical customer stakeholders. What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree, current undergraduate coursework, bootcamp, certification, or equivalent hands‑on experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Networking, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. 0–3 years of relevant experience through internships, technical support, IT, networking, systems administration, implementation, customer support, lab work, projects, or similar hands‑on technical experience. Foundational understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, NAT, VLANs, or similar. Interest in or exposure to IP cameras, NVRs, video streams, ONVIF, RTSP, or physical security systems is a plus. Basic familiarity with SaaS platforms, cloud environments, Linux, virtual machines, APIs, HTTP, or troubleshooting technical systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a customer‑focused mindset. Ability to learn new tools, systems, and technical concepts quickly. Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to work in a fast‑moving startup environment. Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10–20% within the United States. Exposure to Python, Shell scripting, or other scripting languages is a plus. Certifications such as Network+, Security+, CCNA, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or similar are a plus, but not required. Work Location & Travel
This is a
hybrid role based in the bay area California, United States , with a preference for candidates located in the
Pacific Time Zone . The role requires approximately
10–20% travel
