*About the Role*
We’re looking for a strong *2nd Line IT Support Engineer* to join our growing service team at Concept IT.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for resolving escalated IT issues across Microsoft 365 and core infrastructure environments, while developing your skills in modern technologies including *Entra ID and Intune*.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident at 2nd line level and wants to *progress into more advanced technical work over time*.
*What You’ll Be Doing*
* Providing *2nd line support* for incidents and service requests
* Diagnosing and resolving issues across Microsoft and infrastructure environments
* Taking ownership of tickets through to resolution (SLA-driven)
* Supporting Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
* Supporting user management across Active Directory and Entra ID
* Assisting with device management using Intune and Autopilot
* Supporting project work (e.g. M365 migrations, device deployments)
* Documenting solutions and contributing to internal knowledge base
*What We’re Looking For*Essential:
* Experience in a *2nd Line IT Support role* (ideally within an MSP)
* Strong troubleshooting skills across:
* Windows 10 / 11
* Microsoft 365
* Active Directory
* Good understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
* Experience supporting *Microsoft Intune* and device management
* Exposure to *Azure AD / Entra ID*
* Experience working with backup solutions (Veeam, Datto, Acronis)
* Exposure to virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMware)

*The Package*
* Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 depending on experience
* *Most hires typically fall between £32,000 – £36,000*, with higher salaries for candidates demonstrating more advanced technical capability

*Working Hours*
39 hours per week
* Mon–Thurs: 08:30 – 17:30
* Friday: 08:30 – 16:30
