Overview Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems’ Training, Logistics and Simulation (TLS) division is a center of excellence that develops training and logistics solutions for the U.S. military and international customers. This role is based in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities
Perform hardware and software diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance on multiple IT components.
Manage system integrity, availability, and cyber compliance of networked systems.
Assist in the development of solutions across system components through design, integration, implementation, and support.
Participate in phases of software and hardware development, leveraging DevOps engineering processes and procedures while performing respective engineering activities.
Collaborate with other program personnel and participate in cross‑functional Agile teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with 2 years of professional experience, or Master’s degree with 1 or more years of experience.
Experience in Linux Server Administration (RedHat or SLES) or Windows Server and Desktop OS administration.
Ability to maintain a U.S. Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Sec+ CE) is desired.
Shell scripting experience for scheduling and automating processes.
Experience with VMWare/ESXi, vSphere, and Hyper‑V for automated configuration and updates.
Experience with Ansible and related configuration‑management tools.
Experience with Excel, Agile, Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence), and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM).
Security Clearance The position requires completion of an Interim Secret level U.S. government security clearance before starting and a Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable time after start. U.S. citizenship is a requirement for consideration.
Travel Domestic and international travel, up to 30%, may be required. Employees may be asked to obtain a DoD IAT Level II certification within three months of their start date.
