We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization seeking an Inside Sales Manager to join a collaborative and highly tenured sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience selling manufactured products in a B2B environment who enjoys balancing customer service, technical problem-solving, and sales growth.
In this role, you’ll manage an established territory of industrial customers, respond to inquiries, develop quotations, support repeat business, and identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships. While there is some prospecting, much of the business comes from warm leads, repeat customers, and long-standing client relationships. The ideal candidate will be comfortable discussing technical products, learning complex applications, and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions.
What You’ll Do
Manage a designated territory and customer portfolio
Develop pricing, quotations, and proposals for customers
Follow up on opportunities and close orders
Build relationships with OEM and end-user customers
Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts
Support customers by recommending solutions that best fit their applications
Collaborate with internal engineering, operations, and customer service teams
Respond to inbound inquiries and warm leads
Develop strategic territory plans to achieve sales objectives
Support manufacturer representatives and channel partners within your territory
What We’re Looking For
Experience in inside sales for a manufacturing company (required)
B2B sales experience involving manufactured or technical products
Strong customer relationship and communication skills
Ability to learn and understand technical products and applications
Experience preparing quotes, proposals, and pricing
General ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, or blueprints
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered
Technical aptitude and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, maintenance professionals, and technical buyers
