Supervisory responsibilities include none. Required qualifications:
Associate degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Business Administration, Human Resources, Risk Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 2+ years of experience in an administrative, compliance, safety, human resources, risk management, or related support role. Experience maintaining records, managing documentation, and coordinating compliance-related activities. Experience working with databases, software platforms, or learning management systems (LMS). Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and skills:
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare reports, correspondence, and safety-related communications. Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects simultaneously. Strong customer service and relationship management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong data entry, recordkeeping, and document control capabilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Business Administration, Human Resources, Risk Management, or a related field. Experience with Safety101 or similar safety platforms is highly preferred. Experience with OSHA recordkeeping requirements, including OSHA 300 and OSHA 300A logs. Experience administering safety management systems, learning management systems, or compliance platforms such as Safety101. Knowledge of Hazard Communication requirements and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) management. Experience supporting safety programs in construction, industrial, manufacturing, utility, or field service environments. OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
Physical demands and work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Standard office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is minimal. Benefits:
