Primary Duties and Responsibilities As part of Tandigm's Finance, Actuarial and Analytics team, the Analyst, Business Analytics will help turn complex data into meaningful business insight. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into healthcare and financial data, building reporting tools that leaders rely on, and translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations that support smarter decisions across the organization.
In this role, you will develop and maintain reporting, presentations, and visualizations that help quantify product and financial performance across networks and practices. You will partner with cross‑functional teams and business stakeholders to analyze multi‑payor data, identify trends and opportunities, and support improvement efforts that drive measurable impact. You will also play an important role in simplifying reporting, advancing data literacy, and identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and strengthen analytic capabilities.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute both strategically and operationally, from supporting product roadmap requirements to assisting with monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and the ability to connect data to business outcomes in a way that is clear, practical, and compelling.
Builds and maintains analytics reporting tools on a monthly and quarterly basis, providing first level review and interpretation to FAA leaders and key internal stakeholders.
Supports development and maintenance of enterprise reporting, presentation, and visualization for internal and external audiences.
Works as liaison within FAA department linking analytical and financial performance for internal stakeholders and leadership.
Assists organization on front‑end understanding and interpretation of new risk agreements and key financial components, incorporation of new data sources and promotes use of new analytical tools to monitor performance.
Works in cross‑functional teams to address complex requests and contributes to organizational culture and strategic priorities.
Collaborates with business stakeholders to design, develop, and analyze outputs measuring and tying product and financial outcomes from network to practice performance, supporting recommendations of credible improvement levers.
Conducts deep‑dive analyses to support product strategy, roadmap decisions, and prioritization efforts.
Elevates, simplifies and drives data literacy and reporting within the organization.
Identifies opportunities to streamline and automate existing manual reporting processes. Creates and maintains functional business requirements for product roadmap builds by Analytics Optimization and Reporting and/or IT.
Supports VP, Actuarial and Accounting/Finance in monthly close activities as well as quarterly and annual budget, planning and forecast processes.
Prepares and presents findings to stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and business‑relevant manner.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US; work visa sponsorship will not be provided.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
2–5 years of experience, preferably within the healthcare industry.
Experience with SQL and assisting in creating new analytical queries and outputs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with a Business Intelligence tool (Power BI or Tableau preferred).
Health care financial industry background, with understanding of levers in risk arrangements.
Experience analyzing healthcare data, such as claims or EMR.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Intermediate level Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels and visually communicate analysis outcomes.
Passion and interest in data‑driven decision making, and demonstrated affinity for problem solving and process improvement.
Customer‑service oriented; responsive and respectful to coworkers and stakeholders.
High level of initiative, quick learning ability, and resourcefulness.
