Key Responsibilities
Develop large‑scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for insights and reporting.
Write ETL processes, design database systems, and develop tools for real‑time and offline analytic processing.
Collaborate with the Data Science team to transform data and integrate algorithms and models into automated processes.
Test, maintain, and troubleshoot systems to ensure reliability.
Leverage Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands, and query optimization to build data pipelines.
Utilize Python, Java, or similar languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems.
Build data marts and models to support Data Science and internal customers.
Integrate data from various sources while adhering to data quality and accessibility standards.
Analyze current IT environments, recommend solutions, and evaluate new tools for optimal performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
Five (5) years of related experience (accepting three‑ or four‑year degrees).
Five (5) years of experience with:
Analyzing large datasets and providing interactive KPI dashboards.
Programming in Hadoop or Hive, SQL, Python.
Writing clean, high‑quality, high‑performing scalable code.
Testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
Tableau, Power BI, SAP Crystal, Cognos BI reporting tools.
Big data platforms (Hadoop on GCP or AWS).
Analyzing Medicare and Medicaid data, including claims, provider, and utilization datasets.
Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $157,414.00 per year. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Eligible for bonus, commission, short‑term incentives, and the company’s equity award program.
