Job Summary The Network Engineer is responsible for the successful deployment of best‑of‑breed networking and Wi‑Fi equipment for hospitality clients. Must be effective at providing excellent customer service, and working independently to perform timely and quality installation, integration, support, and administration of enterprise‑level data networks and systems. Must have extremely strong problem‑solving skills, be flexible and able to multi‑task and handle changing priorities, with self‑motivation to drive solutions to completion.
Successful employees have a minimum of 5+ years of experience working independently or as a team lead to perform network/Wi‑Fi installations, network diagnostics, monitoring, and using analysis tools (e.g., Ekahau, Wireshark network tools). Must be familiar with HP, Aruba, Ruckus Networks, Meraki wireless enterprise‑level products delivering technical network and Wi‑Fi services to commercial customers.
A combination of remote and on‑call customer service is required. On‑call responsibilities are on a rotational basis to support a 24x7x365 service model.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve enterprise‑level network and product performance issues, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Work independently or as part of a team to effectively deploy, install, configure, and test best‑of‑breed HSIA and network equipment.
Perform effective troubleshooting of LAN/WAN and digital switching technologies, software, hardware and servers, routers, modems, wireless, TCP/IP and QoS.
Perform high quality, meticulous, and timely network system documentation.
Interact with various intra‑ and inter‑departmental peer groups to cooperatively achieve best results in all assigned tasks.
Execute assigned tasks within assigned timeframes and budgets.
May work with and take direction from project managers to ensure completion as necessary.
Responsible for day‑to‑day support within the network/Wi‑Fi engineer function, taking ownership of job performance, seeking direction to improve, applying feedback, aligning with others, and working as a team player to deliver an exceptional customer experience at every interaction. Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with internal teams, striving to enhance the level of mutual cooperation.
Conforms to the highest professional standards, escalating recommendations in support of scalable business needs, remaining curious with an aptitude to research, implement, and adapt to innovative solutions.
Work independently to creatively build internal/external customer respect and loyalty, identify and utilize effective communication channels and methods, while adapting the communication to the level and experience of the audience.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of experience working independently or as a team lead to perform network/Wi‑Fi installations, network diagnostics, monitoring, and using analysis tools (e.g., Ekahau, Wireshark network tools).
2+ years of experience with HP, FortiGate, Firewalls, Aruba, Ruckus Networks, Meraki wireless enterprise‑level products delivering technical network and Wi‑Fi services to commercial customers.
Meraki CMSS certification required.
Experience configuring Aruba and Ruckus hardware within the hospitality space for five years.
Self‑motivated and able to work independently without day‑to‑day supervision.
Proficient at problem‑solving in complex data network systems.
Willingness to work on an on‑call rotation to support the 24x7x365 team.
Effective at working as a team member in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, operating with a high level of detail and conscientiousness. Uses new information or approaches to overcome major resistance or objections.
Demonstrates technical and/or professional proficiency in a network/Wi‑Fi engineering position proactively adjusting for difficulties, and completing objectives efficiently and identifying opportunities for efficiency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, both technically and interpersonally. Exhibits openness to receiving and responding to constructive feedback.
Clear communication of timelines and expectations to team members, making timely decisions when options are clear and there is little pressure or risk.
Demonstrated drive to become proficient and to exceed job expectations, with a willingness to learn and gain proficiency.
Proven ability to understand and apply company resources in accordance with company policy, standards, and best practices.
High sense of urgency, professionalism, integrity, collaboration, and ethics.
Supports the team in building value through creativity and ingenuity, providing leading‑edge and cost‑effective solutions that consider new methods to drive the customer advantage.
Intermediate PC skills, effectively operating within a Windows environment and using Windows‑based programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Project.
Remote position with 25% required travel.
