This position will provide primary administrative support to the Plant Managers, Human Resources and Safety Departments for Montana Wood Products, including Columbia Falls MDF, Kalispell Plywood and Kalispell Lumber. We are seeking an individual who is committed to safety, has a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work for the Montana operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who shows initiative, is a team player and will function as an assistant to the Montana management team. Candidates must possess strong interpersonal / organizational / multi-tasking skills and be able to effectively communicate (written, listening, and oral).
This position will report to the Columbia Falls (MDF) Plant Manager.
Key Functions:

Payroll Coordinator/Contact for Montana Wood Products
Current system: UKG
Responsible for running daily and pay period reports for supervisors/time approvers to ensure time is entered correctly, holidays are paid appropriately, overtime is reviewed and all time is approved
Maintain GRC/SAP Business Role access by completing requests and changes for all employees of MDF, Plywood and Lumber

Coordinate/schedule various calendars/events/meetings/tours
Travel and accommodations for executive leadership and corporate visitors
Coordination of employee events including summer/holiday and appreciation events
Coordination of community events including Family Forestry Expo, career fairs, volunteer events, site tours

Assist safety with:
Administration of Safety Department document record keeping & tracking
Log and track training records in the LMS (Absorb) and distribute monthly status reports.
Accounts payable transactions related to Safety Equipment Reimbursement Program (Boots, Safety Glasses)

Assist HR with:
Creation of onboarding packets as well as facilitate onboarding by allocating assets, preparing materials, assigning training, and coordinating rooms and resources.
Onboarding/training (i.e. timekeeping/benefits) and personnel file management
Management of digital signage for employee communications
Maintain and/or develop routine filing/retrieval system for Safety/HR/Finance including retention/storage compliance.
Provide word processing, presentation and database support.
Order and maintain office supplies, including safety supplies.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years’ administrative experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Experience with maintaining calendars and scheduling appointments/meetings.
- Experience making travel arrangements.
- Experience in accounts payable

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $50,100-$75,100 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
