The Synchrony Business Leadership Program Summer Internship is a 10‑week paid assignment in one of 10 tracks. Interns work on business‑important projects, receive an immersive orientation during week one, attend the Intern Summer Series, and are supported by mentors and a dedicated team. What You’ll Accomplish
Partner with a Sales Leader to provide reporting and analytical support critical to executing the Sales strategy. Support key initiatives that foster growth and profitability, including customer retention projects, compliance initiatives, and consistent communications. Assist platform business development teams with new deals and prepare Sales presentations for prospective Synchrony clients. Create and nurture key client relationships by building sustainable sales goals. What We Look For in All Potential BLP Interns
Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proven leadership inside and beyond the classroom. Strong project management, communication and organizational skills. Flexibility, adaptability, passion for learning and excellence with high integrity. Relevant experience or demonstrated interest in the area of work. Desired Characteristics for the Sales & Relationship Management Track
Passion to work in Sales roles. Strong presentation and deadline‑meeting capabilities. Leadership skills and the ability to lead projects of varying scope. Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem‑solving skills. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and speed of learning. Basic Qualifications & Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business‑related fields (Finance, Economics, Business Management, Marketing, etc.). Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 and excellent academic record. Availability for 10 consecutive weeks during the internship (June – August) and ability to work a minimum 40‑hour week. Must be 18years or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be willing to pass a background investigation, drug screen, and fingerprinting. Ability to satisfy Section19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. Geographic mobility and willingness to relocate based on program or business direction; relocation benefits available for moves of 50miles or more with fully furnished housing.
