Supervise and provide guidance/assistance to project designers
Develop the most cost-effective total project solution for execution of the discipline design work
Develop estimates and schedules, staffing requirements, progress reports, including workforce forecasts
Establish, track, and monitor material key quantities; provide analysis and forecasts
Develop and review specifications, including design criteria
Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting
Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
Develop and review project Scope of Services, Scope of Facilities, and other project baseline documents for all phases of projects
Review 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings and the 3D model using 3D Review platform
Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution
Participate in people development through mentoring, development of training material, conducting training seminars, and performance appraisal input and counseling
Perform advanced design calculations (lighting, raceway sizing and wire sizing, voltage drop, cable pulling, panel board and breaker sizing, and junction box sizing)
Perform field assistance
Advanced knowledge of:
2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D CAD systems and procedures
Hexagon Smart Electrical software
Hexagon Smart Review software
3D modeling software (Hexagon Smart 3D, etc.)
Fluor design guides, electrical technical practices, electrical design drawings
Electrical design requirements (grounding/earthing, lighting, wiring, motors, conduit fill and sizing, panelboards, and hazardous locations)
Advanced computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e‑mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited two (2) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twenty (20) years of work‑related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty‑two (22) years if non‑degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time‑conscious and time‑effective manner
Knowledge of commercial availability and cost of materials
Practical field experience
Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e‑mail, spreadsheet and electronic presentation programs

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid‑point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $204,000.00
