As a Hardware Engineer, you will collaborate with engineering, sales, and supply chain teams to bring cutting‑edge data center hardware from concept to production. Key Responsibilities
Review and provide feedback on customers’ design and technical requirements. Collaborate with Sales and Field Engineering on server, rack, and networking integration at the BOM level. Lead first‑article builds and manage production documentation, including BOM validation, hardware optimization, and engineering instructions. Provide technical input to designers, engineers, and other team members to advance new ideas. Work closely with Engineering, Technical Program Management, Supply Chain, and Purchasing to ensure a smooth transition from NPI to mass production. Coordinate ECN/ECO processes in internal and external PLM systems. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and cross‑functional teams. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical) or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience as a Hardware Engineer, with deep understanding of rack architecture, network gear (switches, optics, cables), and power/cooling technologies. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous‑improvement mindset. Excellent communication and documentation skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Experience with Wiki/Project tracking software (Confluence, JIRA) and PLM systems (Agile or similar) is a plus. Experience working in a manufacturing environment or partnering with ODM/OEM to develop and launch new products. Willingness to travel (5%+ domestic/international).
