Rural Electric Supply Cooperative (RESCO) is a member‑owned wholesale distributor of high‑voltage electrical products. As one of the largest full‑line distributors in the Midwest, we offer competitive pricing, coordinated delivery, and top‑rated customer support. We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Moorhead, MN.
Responsibilities
Develop relationships with the customer base by providing excellent customer service, competitive pricing and value‑added services.
Prepare quotes for customers based on RFQ’s, formal bid proposals and include appropriate documentation required with the proposal.
Enter and maintain orders in the ERP system.
Develop an effective feedback‑tracking system with the outside sales force that maximizes margins for future orders.
Answer customer questions concerning quotations, orders, product function, delivery issues and related subjects.
Partner with the purchasing department to assist with inventory levels, forecasting and stocking suggestions.
Communicate clearly with RESCO outside salespeople on customer quote requests, orders, problems and other relevant issues.
Provide a thorough summary of pending/outstanding issues before vacation or extended leave so that Customer Service Representatives can assume responsibilities in your absence.
Maintain an organized filing system that can be accessed and understood during your absence.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, marketing, sales or a related electrical field.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop working relationships with customers.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
