Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans (functional, regression, performance).
Build complex testbeds integrating multiple Fortinet and third‑party devices.
Perform interoperability testing (Fortinet + third‑party devices/clients).
Analyze customer‑reported issues, review logs, replicate defects in lab, validate fixes.
Identify, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution.
Produce accurate QA reports on time.
Build and maintain test infrastructure for feature validation and defect reproduction.
Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers on debugging.
Job Requirements
3–6+ years of wireless QA experience.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies (test plans, bug tracking, failure documentation).
Networking and Wi‑Fi protocol knowledge: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be.
Experience with functional, stress/load, and performance testing.
Experience with Linux/UNIX/Windows OS.
Experience with debugging and log analysis.
Wireless tools: Wireshark, Omnipeek, Ixia Veriwave, Chariot, iperf.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Python automation experience.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/engineering, or equivalent.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $130,000–$151,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time, as well as a comprehensive leave program.
