The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electrical components. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet performance, efficiency, and reliability requirements.
Create detailed designs for electrical components.
Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance metrics such as efficiency, torque, and durability.
Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost‑effective, meet industry standards, and ensure product specifications meet or exceed expectations.
Prepare technical documentation.
Identify opportunities to enhance designs for improved efficiency, reduced weight, and lower production costs.
Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and environmental regulations.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
1-6years of experience in design engineering.
Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
Proficiency in CAD software.
