Job Title: Jr. Electrical Estimator
This is a full-time permanent direct placement role.
Company Overview: Join our client's team as a Jr. Electrical Estimator in a dynamic company specializing in commercial electrical projects, including schools, hospitals, and data centers. They seek motivated individuals who are eager to enhance their estimating capabilities and advance their careers. The estimated pay rate for this role is $50,000 - $80,000 depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: Conduct accurate takeoffs and prepare estimates for electrical projects using Accubid. Collaborate with senior estimators and project managers to ensure thorough understanding of project scopes. Analyze drawings and specifications to determine necessary materials, labor, and costs. Assist in the preparation of bid documents and presentations for clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in estimating. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Accubid software is essential. Familiarity with Bluebeam and estimations in a field environment highly recommended. Previous experience in electrical estimating or construction is a plus. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
