Responsibilities
Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
Performs system security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
Sets up administrator accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system‑wide software, and allocates mass storage space.
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
Makes recommendations for purchasing hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery.
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
May assume responsibility for less‑experienced staff.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance.
BS, 8‑10 years of relevant experience; MS, 6‑8 years; PhD, 3‑5 years.
One of the following DoD 8570 / CS‑NET‑451 certifications:
Security+
SSCP
CySA+
GSEC
Desired Qualifications
RHCSA / RHCE
Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
Linux+
Server+
VMware VCP
Nutanix NCP
Azure Administrator
AWS SysOps
CASP+
CISSP
RMF training
STIG implementation experience
ACAS/Nessus familiarity
ITIL 4 Foundation
CompTIA Cloud+
Storage certifications

Amount of travel: 20%
Physical Demands Required to use hands and arms for gripping, handling, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Must lift up to 10 pounds routinely, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Wage Information Target salary range: $116,000.00 – $134,000.00. The displayed range is an estimate and will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and contract parameters. Salary is one component of the total compensation package.
