Eligibility & Security Requirements Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship, an active TS/SCI security clearance, and a polygraph are required for the position. Applicants must be US citizens and possess a valid TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph.
Qualifications
2 years of directly related experience within the last 5 years.
Level 3 requires a minimum of 15 years of direct/relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Alternatively, five (5) years of additional Systems Administration experience on comparable projects may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
Experience with Linux, Windows, UNIX, RHEL, Kali, Solaris, Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Mandriva.
Nice to Have AWS, Linux experience.
Responsibilities
Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
Support day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, and other equipment.
Deliver Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues.
Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
Handle dispatch system and hardware problem resolution.
Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems; install and load OS software; troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components; implement OS enhancements for reliability and performance.
Support installation and maintenance of Cisco routers and switches for enterprise systems.
Compensation Salary range: $175,000 – $200,000 per year. The pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Factors considered include responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.
