The Graduate Program Content Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining educational and recruitment materials for the Graduate School (TGS) programs and creating unified marketing materials that reflect all graduate school programs at Augusta University. This role collaborates with faculty and subject‑matter experts to create engaging and effective content that accurately reflects the program and institution’s goals, ensuring content is up‑to‑date, relevant, and impactful. Responsibilities
Design and develop compelling recruitment materials (brochures, flyers, digital content) to communicate the excellence and value of the graduate programs. Create engaging multimedia resources (videos, podcasts, virtual tours, interactive FAQs) that showcase program strengths and unique features. Develop generalized materials highlighting areas of collaboration and interdisciplinary nature of all graduate programs. Work with marketing staff in individual colleges to support their content needs. Develop innovative and distinct messaging with a unified voice across all programs to generate traffic, engage visitors, and convert leads to applications. Update and maintain content across multiple platforms to keep information accurate and relevant. Collaborate with faculty and program directors to develop content aligned with academic objectives and industry trends. Conduct thorough research to stay informed about competitor programs and incorporate new knowledge into recruitment content. Collaborate with the Graduate Student Recruitment Coordinator to create multimedia content for TGS recruitment efforts. Offer content development support for recruitment events, workshops, and program‑specific initiatives. Develop targeted outreach campaigns through email, social media, and online advertising to engage prospective students and increase enrollment. Create personalized content for different prospective student segments and monitor campaign effectiveness. Coordinate with the TGS admissions team to align strategies with recruitment goals and identify new marketing opportunities. Serve as a liaison between TGS, academic programs, AU Online, and other departments to ensure content aligns with program goals. Participate in content planning meetings with faculty, program directors, and admissions to identify communication needs. Use marketing research, surveys, focus groups, and web analytics to optimize messaging and track performance. Collaborate with the Web Developer and Communications & Marketing teams to execute social media strategies. Support TGS‑wide events, including recruitment fairs and other events such as Graduate Research Day and Welcome Back Reception. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university. Preferred: Marketing and Communications degree. Preferred experience working with brand, creative, and digital teams on key digital and social platforms. Understanding of content operations within a CRM environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases. Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, organized. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work independently with general supervision under tight timelines. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate across departments. About the Position
Shift: Days, Monday‑Friday (outside standard business hours may be required). Salary: $48,800 – $55,000 per annum (competitive).
