The QA/Cx Site Manager will execute and manage the project quality and commissioning plans to ensure building quality on all projects. Key Responsibilities
Assist with development of project-specific quality and commissioning plans. Lead implementation and management of the quality and commissioning plan and team throughout project duration. Support project management with all quality and commissioning related documentation and final quality documentation turnover package. Develop and maintain internal project schedule for L2 and L3 activities, aligning with key milestones. Support project and field management with scheduling quality, vendor, and commissioning activities. Review project equipment and material specifications, BOMs, and submittals for accuracy and consistency with scope and design requirements. Ensure only approved equipment and materials are installed. Complete and provide all required receiving and installation inspection checklists and testing documentation. Coordinate inspection requests and walk inspections with the AHJ/GC/Owner to ensure completion and documentation. Assist in creating site-specific equipment startup documentation (MOPs, SBSs, etc.). Assist with coordination and supervision of testing and start-up activities. Review and analyze project quality data and metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements. Communicate QA/Cx program feedback and project lessons to the QA/Cx Regional Manager. Qualifications
Licensed Journeyman Electrician with at least 5 years of experience, including foreman or general foreman roles. Minimum 5 years of experience performing quality and commissioning activities in the electrical industry. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. OSHA 30 & NFPA 70E training preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project) and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Familiarity with quality software programs (Cx Alloy, Prolog, etc.). Strong organizational, record‑keeping, and follow‑up skills. Analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to manage and mentor others, set expectations and measure completion. Strong prioritization and multitasking skills, adaptable to changing requirements. Ability to work under time pressure with a positive attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self‑motivated, proactive, effective team player with professional demeanor at all organizational levels. Working Conditions
General work environment involves prolonged sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Work is primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise levels range from low to medium; site may be loud. Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs and travel up to 100% depends on project needs. Full ADA compliance and reasonable accommodations are provided. Benefits
