You will serve as a key connection between customers, sales, engineering, and operations—ensuring a seamless experience while helping drive revenue and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Customer & Sales Support
Prepare accurate, timely product quotations including pricing, specifications, and delivery details
Respond to customer inquiries related to products, applications, pricing, and lead times
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners
Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to support territory growth and customer retention
Track and follow up on open quotes and sales opportunities
Assist customers in identifying the best product solutions for their needs
Order Coordination & Business Support
Enter and maintain accurate customer, quotation, and order data in CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce preferred)
Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure customer requirements are met
Verify order accuracy including pricing, specifications, and shipping details
Support resolution of customer concerns while maintaining a positive experience
Assist with sample requests, documentation, and general sales support activities
Product & Technical Support
Maintain working knowledge of products, applications, and manufacturing capabilities
Interpret basic dimensions, layouts, and product configurations for quoting support
Assist with material utilization and basic nesting concepts (training provided)
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure product feasibility and alignment with customer needs
CRM & Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and sales activity
Ensure CRM/ERP data integrity and organization
Support communication across Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Finance
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer service
Qualifications Education & Experience
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or account management
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferred
Exposure to technical product specifications or dimensions is a plus
Skills & Competencies
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgment
Experience with CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly learn product configurations and technical concepts
AI proficiency required, including using AI tools to improve productivity, communication, and research
