Central Transport is a leading Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) carrier providing safe and efficient service across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We are expanding our team and are looking for skilled professionals to join our operations. Salary and Shift
Salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 plus up to 10% in bonuses. Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00am to 2:00pm. Responsibilities
Oversee inbound operations for the designated section of the terminal dock. Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet production schedules. Coordinate loading, forklift traffic, and proper picking/sortation of palletized freight. Review and revise driver routes to increase efficiencies while monitoring a changing workload. Monitor freight in transit and assist drivers with issues such as flat tires. Ensure facility Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals are met or exceeded. Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards. Support a culture of excellence in product quality for internal and external customers. Qualifications
Experience in a transportation, cross-docking, or shipping and receiving environment (preferably within the LTL industry). Strong leadership qualities. Desire to provide customers with excellence in service. Aptitude for technology. Ability to multi-task while being detail oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required. Benefits
