is seeking a bilingual Inside Sales/Sales Coordinator with Japanese language skills to support our semiconductor industry clients.
Responsibilities
Communicate daily with CKD overseas sales department in Japan regarding customer requests, including special pricing, technical drawings and documentation.
Support the sales team by responding to requests for reports, inventory inquiries, shipping notifications and customer communications in a timely manner.
Coordinate with other CKD overseas departments concerning product expedites, custom part verifications, custom product development and pricing.
Assist with translation as needed for tasks such as production control reports, lead‑time and expedite requests, cancelled orders and related assignments.
Generate timely quotations for product inquiries while confirming product availability, part‑number accuracy, customer‑specific discounting and obtaining proper documentation such as Letters of Authorization (LOAs) when required.
Verify and enter all incoming orders with previous quote history including price, lead time, delivery schedule and purchase‑order verification, using customer portals to verify forecasts, demand and on‑hand inventory.
Provide delivery control to customers using all available tools.
Offer basic technical support to customers, including product specification, repair‑part recommendations, part‑number verification/identification and other requested assistance.
Facilitate onboarding and account setup for new customers, including coordination of required documentation.
Manage quality and return‑related processes such as inspection reports and return authorizations, while maintaining clear communication with customers and internal teams.
Ensure customers receive the requested information or are directed to an appropriate employee who can help them with their request.
Maintain an accurate inventory system that provides a complete view of all products on hand and supports an accurate audit process.
Present a positive and respectful professional image toward customers and coworkers while making decisions based on company policies and processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred; strong verbal and written communication skills.
2–3 years of inside sales, sales coordination or customer support/service experience in an office environment.
Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Standard computer knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other Enterprise Resource Planning software a plus.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Experience working with a multinational team.
Background in semiconductor, pneumatic or fluid‑power technologies a plus.
Japanese language proficiency a big plus.
