Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Customer Service/Sales Representative role based in Camarillo, CA. The person in this role will respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing product information, order support, and post-purchase assistance. They will guide customers through gear and parts selection, recommend products that match riding style and budget, and support sales goals through effective upselling and cross-selling. Daily responsibilities include processing orders, handling returns and exchanges, resolving shipping or billing issues, and documenting customer interactions in internal systems. The role also involves staying current on product lines and promotions, collaborating with the warehouse and marketing teams, and ensuring a positive, efficient customer experience for every rider.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and a friendly, professional phone manner.
Sales skills with the ability to recommend products, upsell and cross-sell appropriately, and meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
Comfort with order entry, inventory lookups, and basic computer systems, including email, chat platforms, and CRM or ticketing tools.
Knowledge of or genuine interest in motocross, powersports, or cycling products; experience as a rider or in a related industry is highly beneficial.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to handle multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work on-site in Camarillo, CA, maintain reliable attendance, and collaborate effectively with warehouse, marketing, and management teams.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or experience in retail, e-commerce, or call center environments is a plus.
Shopify, Gorgias or eCommerce experience a plus
