Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Agent role based in Franklin, TN. The Sales Agent will engage prospective and existing clients to understand their financial and insurance needs, present suitable Transamerica products, and guide them through the application and enrollment process. Daily responsibilities include conducting outbound and inbound calls, holding in-person consultations, following up on leads, and maintaining accurate records in the company’s systems. The role involves delivering a high standard of customer service, explaining complex financial and insurance concepts in clear terms, and ensuring clients understand their options. The Sales Agent will also collaborate with colleagues, participate in ongoing product and compliance training, and meet or exceed sales and performance targets.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal explanations, and professional written correspondence.
Proven Customer Service experience, with a focus on building trust, resolving concerns, and supporting long-term client relationships.
Demonstrated Sales abilities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting solutions, and closing transactions in a goal-driven environment.
Knowledge of Insurance products or related financial services, with the ability to learn and comply with regulatory requirements; applicable licenses (or ability to obtain) are preferred.
Experience in Training or willingness to participate in continuous learning, including product, systems, and compliance training.
High level of integrity, reliability, and accountability in handling sensitive client information and financial discussions.
Comfort working in an on-site office environment in Franklin, TN, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a local team.
Basic proficiency with CRM systems and standard office software; strong organizational and time-management skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; postsecondary education in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
