A regional civil engineering firm located in State College, PA is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of civil engineering experience. While not a remote position, this in-person role offers flexibility for work/life balance within an informal office culture.
Responsibilities
Develop plans to include details and specifications suitable for submittal of permit applications (post construction stormwater management, erosion & sediment control, land development and NPDES).
Produce designs, calculations, complete plans and permit applications and coordinate with reviewing agencies.
Assist the project director by providing project management and engineering support throughout the proposal, design, permitting and construction phases for the development of athletic facilities.
Perform construction administration and field observations during construction projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
Professional Engineering (PE) license eligible.
Experience/working knowledge of basic design principles for grading, calculation of slopes & grades, and site construction materials and methods.
Training and/or work experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
