You Will...
Be a critical part of the data platform team, responsible for scaling and validating the data platform to meet Ancestry’s data growth.
Develop, deploy, and support a real‑time automated system for streaming and streamlining data lifecycle management.
Deploy IAC (Infrastructure as Code) to lay down the infrastructure that the data pipelines utilize.
Who You Are...
Experience in Java and a framework such as Spring Boot with 3+ years of experience in an enterprise environment.
B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field; required experience in Big Data ecosystems, including Spark and Kafka.
Proficiency in database technologies MySQL (Aurora), Redshift or equivalent.
Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
RESTful web service development.
Good familiarity with AWS AI tools.
Experience with AWS Cloud automated deployments.
Salary & Benefits Base salary range: $94,610.00 – $118,260.00 with eligibility for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision. The actual salary will vary by geographic region and job experience.
