Job Summary
Seeking a Business Analyst to support complex surveillance analysis and identify potential regulatory violations.
Role serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical implementation teams.
Focused on supporting surveillance-related initiatives within a financial/regulatory environment.
Most surveillance workflows are highly complex and data intensive.
Core Responsibilities
Conduct complex analysis of surveillance data and workflows.
Help identify and investigate potential violations or anomalies.
Support UAT processes.
Validation of releases.
Packaging feedback and testing results from business users.
Build and maintain project artifacts, documentation, and release-related materials.
Respond to business questions related to surveillance data and processes.
Ensure accuracy and quality of analytical outputs and documentation.
Data & Technical Skills
Strong SQL experience required.
Knowledge of complex queries and window functions preferred.
Ability to perform complex data analysis and interpret findings.
Exposure to big data concepts and Spark is beneficial.
Comfortable working with technical teams and translating business requirements into actionable solutions.
GenAI & Automation Expectations
Actively leverage GenAI tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
Use prompt engineering techniques to accelerate.
Documentation.
Data analysis.
Research and investigative workflows.
Maintain accuracy and quality control while using AI-assisted tools.
Required Background
5+ years of experience in a financial services or regulatory environment.
Strong domain knowledge within surveillance, compliance, or regulatory operations is critical.
Excellent analytical, investigative, and documentation skills.
Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.Ability to answer complex business questions using data-driven insights.
