Introduction The Sponsor's office is responsible for the design and implementation of enterprise network architectures. This includes, but is not limited to the wide area network, local area network, firewalls, voice over IP, video engineering, data center engineering, network performance analysis, and Tier IV operational and engineering support and network security. The Sponsor requires network engineering support with deep subject matter expertise with cryptographic devices.
Required Skills and Demonstrated Experience
Demonstrated experience with in-depth knowledge of General Dynamics crypto devices such as the E-100, FLEX, Micro, Nano, TL-10G, TL-1g, and next‑generation crypto devices, including their configuration, operation, and maintenance.
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex cryptographic systems.
Demonstrated experience with technical knowledge of cryptographic principles, protocols, and technologies, including those related to General Dynamics crypto devices.
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex technical issues related to General Dynamics crypto devices and developing effective solutions.
Demonstrated experience with cryptographic protocols and standards, such as those related to encryption, decryption, and key management.
Demonstrated experience providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders, including written training documentation.
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders, to achieve project goals and objectives.
Demonstrated experience with GEM crypto manager(s) software.
Demonstrated experience providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders, including actively training personnel.
Highly Desired Skills and Demonstrated Experience
Demonstrated experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
Demonstrated experience with technical knowledge of cryptographic principles, protocols, and technologies, including those related to General Dynamics crypto devices.
Demonstrated experience and familiarity with Sponsor networks and devices, including both new and legacy systems, to ensure seamless integration and support.
Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues related to General Dynamics crypto devices and develop effective solutions.
Demonstrated experience with agile project management methodologies to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated experience with effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex technical information to various stakeholders, including technical and non‑technical personnel.
Demonstrated experience and ability to work in a matrix environment, navigating multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines.
Citizenship Requirement
This position requires U.S. Citizenship. Verification of U.S. Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
Travel
This position is expected to be onsite within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). Local travel/POV will be on an as‑needed basis within the local place of performance.
