Please note that this position does NOT support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Kings Bay, GA, and will be expected to work in the office.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineer or equivalent
Knowledge of construction codes, regulations and industry standards
Ability to read and interpret facility design drawings and specifications
Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
Proficient in Microsoft products
Willingness to travel
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
Desired Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (civil, structural, mechanical or electrical)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional certification in architecture, engineering, or a related field (e.g. LEED AP, PE)
Experience with creating cost estimates for facility projects
Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit
Familiarity with the military construction (MILCON) process
Experience with construction inspection and oversight, contract administration, and field surveying
Experience with creating and reviewing A&E design drawings
Experience with creating Statements of Work
Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefings and stakeholder coordination

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
9x80 every other Friday off
