We're searching for a skilled Design Release Engineer to lead the development and release of powertrain sealing components for Stellantis' vehicles. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and drive engineering solutions from concept to production. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of sealing components, ensuring alignment with vehicle and powertrain requirements. Manage design release activities, including production milestones and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). Provide technical guidance and resolve design issues during development and production stages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure successful integration and implementation of designs. Develop and maintain engineering documentation and report on project status to stakeholders. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited school or equivalent. Experience with sealing components and systems. Understanding of product development documentation such as DFMEA and DVP&R. Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills. Ability to author system/component-level requirements. Preferences
Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience in creating and executing validation plans. Working knowledge of CAD programs, preferably Siemens NX. 5 years of experience in design and manufacturing of sealing components. Ready to make an impact?
