My client is a well-established M&E engineering consultancy who are seeking a Lighting Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role will involve working on a high-profile project within the London area. The client is looking for an experienced engineer with strong lighting design capability within building services, ideally with experience working across large-scale, complex developments. Benefits
Rate of £400 - 450 a day outside IR35 (Depending on Experience) Contract ongoing until September 2027 Weekly Payments Key Responsibilities
Producing high-quality lighting design layouts
Carrying out lighting calculations and simulations using industry-standard software (e.g. DIALux / Relux)
Preparing technical drawings, reports, specifications and design documentation
Coordinating lighting designs with mechanical, electrical and architectural disciplines
Liaising with clients, contractors and wider design teams as required
What they are looking for?
Strong experience in lighting design within building services
Proven track record working on large-scale, complex projects
Strong understanding of lighting standards and design principles
Ability to work in the UK
