Overview This position is pending contract award.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement processes for proactive monitoring, maintenance, and issue resolution to enhance system performance and reliability.
Perform administrative tasks involving TTC server and client hardware, software, applications, and configurations.
Ensure the Trusted Thin Client system is operating efficiently and securely, contributing directly to mission‑critical operations.
Implement network security protocols and enforce cybersecurity best practices to safeguard sensitive information.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing immediate and sustainable solutions for the TTC system.
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to drive collaboration and integration of TTC systems across broader operational initiatives.
Design, write, modify, and implement software programs/applications;
Develop "glue‑ware" to support operational client applications and security patches;
Provide Tier 2 technical support;
Install, configure, operate, manage, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, inspect and maintain server systems (physical and virtual), including administration of core and functional services;
Manage and administer user accounts, profiles and access;
Provide desktop, server and software application integration support;
Operate and maintain monitoring and analysis tools; and detect, analyze and resolve platform, infrastructure and system problems;
Monitor and control system performance, utilization and capacity to ensure optimal performance, availability, serviceability and recoverability; and report any vulnerabilities or deficiencies to government technical representatives;
Evaluate current architecture, research current technologies/solutions; and provide systems hardware/software upgrade and replacement recommendations for end‑of‑life/end‑of‑support COTS products to government technical representatives;
Support Cross Domain Solutions as required;
As required, contractor shall coordinate with Forcepoint to perform Quarterly TTC Health Assessments (billed as an Other Direct Cost) to analyze overall health, operational capability and capacity of TTC infrastructure and services; and recommend;
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels to provide updates, resolve issues, and drive system improvements.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Active, in‑scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 (Security+) or higher; and Citrix Certified Associate Virtualization (CCAV) or Citrix Certified Associate Networking (CCAN), or equivalent certification; and Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions Trusted Thin Client Administrator Training Course completed.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering or related field, and 4 years software development / engineering experience; or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Computer Engineering or related field, and 6 years software development/engineering experience; or 8 years software development/engineering experience.
